This is the kind of excited response people have after experiencing Lawrence Hass' magic.
Read along to discover why and plan to attend the show on November 26.
As a renowned philosopher (in aesthetics and phenomenology) and a world-famous magician, Lawrence creates shows that are unique.
Far from commonplace or cliché, he combines meaningful presentations with exquisite sleight-of-hand to create astonishing entertainment for grown-ups.
Lawrence loves to create shows that are specially designed for each and every audience. The show he has designed especially for us in Brussels is: “Magical Life: An Evening with Lawrence Hass.”
Interweaving his magic and philosophy, Lawrence's show will explore four powerful themes: Awaken, Remember, Mystery, and Transformation. Each of these themes will be developed through his highly acclaimed and original performances pieces.
We will explore themes such as order and chaos, reality and imagination, magical connections between people, and the mysteries of time and luck.
We will learn why Giordano Bruno was burned at the stake. And we will discover, poetically, the secret for healing our broken world.
Coming especially from the United States to Brussels on November 26, this is a rare and exclusive opportunity to experience unforgettable magic from a celebrated performing artist.
The Op-Weule cultural center is happy to open the doors of its comfortable theater to Lawrence.
Ideally located at a 6-minutes walk from Roodebeek, its huge public and free parking and its metro station, and 2-minutes walk from the Woluwe shopping center.
Feel free to visit the Op-Weule cultural center website for more information about the venue.

Lawrence performs his artistic, inspiring magic at universities, corporate events, theaters, and nightclubs—from coast-to-coast in America and internationally. He performs regularly in Las Vegas and the world-famous Magic Castle in Hollywood.
He is also an award-winning magic teacher and author of essays and books about the magical arts, including his international bestselling books for magicians, Inspirations: Performing Magic with Excellence (2015) and Transformations (2007). In 2016 he was nominated, with Jeff McBride, for the Lecturer of the Year Award from the Academy of Magical Arts in Hollywood, California.
Dr. Hass’ work as a philosopher-magician has been featured in the New York Times, USAToday, the Chronicle of Higher Education, and on the Discovery Channel.

Lawrence Hass recently presented his distinctive vision about magic at TEDxSMU.
Far from tricking people, lying to them, and deceiving them, Lawrence suggests that magic is an art form that celebrates impossible things, thereby energizing people to see beyond accepted limits and to imagine new possibilities for transformation. This account of magic performance overturns common misconceptions about magic and helps explain why there have been magicians in every recorded human culture.
Lawrence also performs two of his favorite pieces of magic during this talk. A small taste of what his show in Brussels will be!
